Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series championship. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Local events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
“I’m already thinking about the third time we’re going to achieve this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at the stadium, where the team emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ spinning music and Ice Cube cruising a Pacific blue vintage Cadillac around the field.

Festivities started well before the procession, with supporters setting off fireworks in the roads of Downtown Los Angeles on the previous evening.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto, named the MVP of the championship, spoke directly about the victory.
