Supporters Demand Detainment of Person Who Touched Ariana Grande

Loyal supporters of the actress are urging that a man who jumped a fence and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating video depicts the individual from Australia pushing past media personnel and charging at Grande while the performers made its way down a yellow carpet accompanied by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers indicated that he was scheduled to be present on the next day. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile includes clips of him disrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last winter.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," commented an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Safety

Many supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed experiencing PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her spring 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" commented a further response on Instagram.

A number of attendees also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals demanded social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Hundreds of Singapore supporters had lined up to meet the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of attendees had gathered in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore venue, including some who had queued for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on 21 November, is the sequel of a two-part interpretation of the acclaimed theatrical show Wicked, which revolves around the surprising relationship between two distinct characters.

The show itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning film of last year in the UK, and scored a dozen Academy Award nods, winning two for best costume and set decoration.
